Does the Vector Tech Pilot MTB Helmet CE have MIPS protection?
Yes. The Vector Tech Pilot MTB Helmet CE is MIPS-equipped. Its vacuum-formed polycarbonate construction incorporates an embedded rigid reinforcing frame and a reinforced front air scoop for added structural strength.
The open-face design extends coverage around the temples and nape. It does not include the chin coverage of a full-face helmet.

The Vector Tech Pilot MTB Helmet CE is constructed, tested and approved to the European bicycle-helmet standard EN 1078:2012+A1:2012. It also complies with the U.S. CPSC bicycle-helmet standard, 16 CFR 1203, for persons age five and older, and the Australian/New Zealand standard AS/NZS 2063:2008.
These are bicycle-helmet standards. This model is designed for mountain biking, not motorcycle riding.

The Vector Tech Pilot MTB Helmet CE has 19 ventilation openings, including strategically positioned laser-cut front vents, to promote cooling airflow during mountain biking. Its listed weight in size M with MIPS is 390 g.
The breathable comfort liner uses quick-dry, anti-bacterial fabric. The liner is washable and replaceable; follow the helmet's care instructions when cleaning it.
