Developed over a decade, the Tech-Air® MX System is Alpinestars’ most advanced off-road airbag for motocross and supercross. Featuring AI-powered crash detection and four selectable Riding Modes, it provides CE Category II airbag protection compliant with EN1621‑4:2013, covering shoulders, chest, and back with inflation in ~40 ms. Integrated Nucleon PLASMA back protector, breathable stretch-mesh vest, LED display, and up to 30-hour battery enhance comfort, control, and uptime.

Multiple Riding Modes: Default MX Mode plus MX RACE, ENDURO, and RALLY profiles selectable via the Tech-Air® App or onboard controls, so protection adapts to your discipline, pace, and terrain.
AI Crash Detection: Machine-learning tuned with elite MX/SX ride data to recognize crash dynamics accurately, helping deliver protection when it matters while minimizing nuisance inflations.
Active Airbag Response: Rapid inflation engages during the crash sequence to absorb impact energy before major contact, supporting confidence over jumps, rhythm sections, and rough terrain.
System Versatility: Low-profile chassis designed to be worn over or under MX gear; single gas inflator enables one deployment and is easily replaceable where permitted to reduce downtime.
Battery Life: Up to 30 hours of ride time per charge, with a 1-hour quick charge adding around 8 hours, keeping you covered through race weekends and training days.
Quick Activation: Automatic power-on/off via the left buckle sensor for simple, glove-friendly operation in the paddock and on the grid.
