The SM3 Youth Falcon Helmet is the latest evolution of Alpinestars’ MX helmet design, anatomically developed for young motocross and off-road riders who need serious performance from the start.
Derived from the brand’s adult helmet range, it combines lightweight construction, advanced impact management, and optimized airflow for confidence across motos, practice sessions, and trail riding.
A youth-specific profile and adaptable fit help deliver lasting comfort as riders progress.

Lightweight thermo-injected shell: A special polymer blend with variable thickness helps keep the helmet light for young riders while preserving a refined off-road feel.
Advanced thermoplastic outer shell: Impact-resistant shell architecture across three sizes supports a precise youth fit without unnecessary bulk.
Ventilation routing: 10 inlets and seven exhaust ports are tuned to move air efficiently through the helmet for better heat management during motos and practice sessions.
Hydration tube channels: Integrated routing in the cheek-pad area keeps the hydration hose neatly positioned for convenience on longer off-road rides.
Grow-with-you sizing: Youth Medium and Youth Large share the same EPS size, allowing riders to progress from YM to YL with a consistent internal fit.
Dedicated Youth Small fit: A smaller EPS size with cheek-pad customisation creates a purpose-built fit for very small riders who need a closer, more precise helmet feel.

The multiple-density inner liner is mapped with the correct density in the correct area for enhanced impact absorption.
The inner and outer surfaces are engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts.
Alpinestars patented low-friction coating is applied to the inner part of the main EPS liner to reduce rotational acceleration forces that can result from certain oblique impacts, acting as a slip plane to help manage rotational energy.
The patented visor release system is engineered to release at a pre-determined force to help reduce the forces transmitted to the rider’s neck during an impact.
The 25mm chin strap contributes to secure retention.

Alpinestars new in-house safety standard applies a heavier chin-impact test, with the shell thickness and helmet structure optimized in the chin area.
