alpinestars and toyota triumph with 6 hours of fuji victory in japan

Ryō Hirakawa, Sébastien Buemi and Brendon Hartley of the #8 Toyota Racing TR010 HYBRID took victory with a strategic, closely contested win at the 6 Hours of Fuji in the FIA World Endurance Championship in Japan. 

The result has vaulted the trio into the lead of the drivers’ standings and helps Toyota extend its lead at the top of the manufacturers’ table to 23 points. The team’s #7 car of Kamui Kobayashi, Mike Conway and Nyck de Vries finished eighth, also Alpinestars drivers.
